In 2000, he opened Dustin David Salon with then, co-owner and mom Linda Ambler in the beautiful community of Los Gatos, CA. Originally called Portfolio Hair Color and Design Studio, they grew and developed systems and procedures to run an efficient employee based salon. Today Dustin employes over 20 of the most talented and dedicated stylists in the Bay Area. By closely involving himself with each and every individual employee in their creative growth, it ensures the quality and level of service the salon stands by.
Dustin, along with his own team of educators he personally trains, mentor and teaches all the stylists in both haircutting and hair color techniques. With in-salon classes offered weekly, stylists are given opportunities to be up to date and learn the newest techniques with the latest hair trends.
